Frequently Asked Questions
-
Pricing depends on the type of coverage (armed, unarmed, mobile patrol, or event), the schedule, and the site itself. Every rate we quote is all inclusive: officer wages, supervision, training, insurance, and reporting, with no overtime charges, emergency fees, or surcharges of any kind. Request a quote and we will walk the property with you and have a firm number back within a day.

Unarmed officers handle access control, patrols, de-escalation, and reporting, and are the right fit for most sites. Armed officers carry a firearm and hold the required armed licensing in the state where they work; they fit higher risk environments such as cash handling operations and properties with elevated threat levels. We help you decide during the initial walkthrough, and we never recommend armed coverage where it is not needed.

Yes. We run community patrol and parking enforcement programs for HOAs, condominiums, and apartment communities across Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. Patrol visits are made at varied times including late night, every visit is photo documented, and your board receives a written summary it can actually use at meetings. Agreements are month to month, and programs can start, scale, or pause as the community's needs change.

A Special Police Officer, or SPO, is commissioned by the District of Columbia with arrest authority on the specific private property they are assigned to protect. Schools, residential buildings, and institutional campuses in DC often require SPO coverage. We field commissioned Special Police Officers and manage the commissioning process for the officers we place.

A certificate of insurance naming your organization is provided on signing, and every officer is background checked.
-
For most engagements, within a week of signing. We walk the property with you, confirm the schedule and post orders, and assign officers you meet before they start. Event coverage can often be arranged faster, and fire watch coverage is treated as urgent because buildings usually need it the same week.
-
No. Most of our agreements are month to month, and event clients can sign a standing agreement once and book coverage by email after that. Rates are held firm for twelve months, and we keep the paperwork simple so starting, scaling, or pausing coverage never requires a renegotiation.
-
Fire watch is scheduled patrol coverage required when a building's fire alarm or sprinkler system is out of service, under maintenance, or not yet installed. Our officers patrol the property on a set schedule, document every round in a written log consistent with NFPA practice, and stay on post until the system is restored and the requirement is lifted. We can usually stand up fire watch coverage on short notice.
